Renee Lewis

Our Chief Catalyst has over 20 years of experience helping emerging companies succeed and grow. A seasoned professional, she has hands-on expertise leading and turning around companies in a variety of industries including eLearning with a hard-earned reputation for succeeding in the most difficult of scenarios. She has held CEO, COO, CIO and CTO roles across seven different technically oriented start-up firms across multiple industries during the past 15 years.  She is also one of the founders of the Pensare Group which helps companies improve their success rates by applying solid strategic and operating principals.

Renee is in her second year as an instructor in the award-winning ACTiVATE program, which teaches women how to start technology-based companies. She is responsible for developing program content, delivering classroom instruction, and mentoring teams as they navigate the world of business start-up. She is a requested speaker at industry conferences and authors papers and presentations on a wide range of topics from delivering on budget/on time to the power of building trust in organizations. Renee holds a BS from the Pennsylvania State University and an MS from George Washington University (GWU). She sits on the Advisory Board for the Graduate School of Education and Human Development at GWU, is the co-President of the Wood Acres PTA, and is the President of the Wood Acres Citizen's Association. She is certified by Achievement Seminars International (ASI) as a Facilitator and the Total Quality Institute (TQI) as a Quality Process Adviser.
